 |
Post Office Ltd has unveiled its plans to close nine of the Newcastle's post offices. They are:
- Brunswick Village
- Clayton Road
- Garden Village
- Howard Street
- Kenton Road
- Union Society
- Walkerville
- Walbottle
- West Denton
Newcastle Conservatives have committed ourselves to fight to save every post office threatened with closure in the city and we have supported the establishment of the Keep Newcastle’s Post Offices OPEN campaign. Alan Duncan, Shadow Minister for Tyneside and Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform, is leading the campaign.
We have launched an online petition and joined forces with other campaigns in Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and County Durham to establish a Facebook Group.
