We saw fantastic results in Gosforth in 2022 with the Conservatives receiving over 27% of the vote, coming a close second to the Liberal Democrats.
Doc Anand is great local candidate, after arriving at Heathrow Airport from India in 1978 with just £3.50 in his pocket, Doc has had a huge impact on Gosforth. After working as a GP for over 35 years (during which time he went on to own Elmfield Medical Practice). Now retired, Doc dedicates all his time to improving Gosforth. Whether taking part in community action groups to save green spaces or litter picking in Gosforth park every Monday, Doc is committed to making Gosforth a better place to live and work.
