Newcastle City Council passed its 2016-17 budget last night as it cut £30 million of council services with the majority of cuts coming from frontline services whilst back room administration costs are protected.
Consultation on Newcastle Council's budget plans for 2016/17 ends on the 31st January. This is an opportunity to have a say on the double taxing plans of the Labour Council as well as how they intend to spend your money.
