The Parish Council must be consulted on planning decisions in our area. Despite this requirement, the Parish Council was not informed before the Core Strategy was announced.
I believe that Woolsington Parish Council needs to make a Parish Plan. A Parish Plan would outline the priorities for the area, including issues such as housing and transport.
If Woolsington Parish had a Parish Plan, the City Council would have to take notice - instead of concreting over our communities.
In making our Plan, the Parish Council would have to launch an open and accountable consultant process with the residents of the parish—you.
I am completely opposed to these plans that put our community at risk.
